Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Design Workshops : Facilitate detailed integration design workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define and validate robust data integration requirements.
  • Architect End-to-End Solutions : Design comprehensive SAP CPI-DS-based integration architecture, incorporating multiple data sources and targets (e.g., SAP ECC, S / 4HANA, APO, IBP, HANA, Flat Files, and 3rd-party databases).
  • Develop Advanced HCI Tasks : Build complex HCI (CPI-DS) tasks with Pre / Post Scripts for optimized data processing and transformation.
  • Web Services Integration : Implement and support web-service-based integrations, including IBP data pulls and downstream uploads to ECC / APO.
  • IBP Domain Knowledge : Apply in-depth understanding of IBP master data, attributes, planning areas, and integration requirements.
  • CPI-DS Administration : Manage and optimize CPI-DS task scheduling, error handling, performance, and reliability.
  • Team Mentoring : Mentor junior developers and team members, ensuring best practices in integration development.
  • Customer Engagement : Lead CPI-DS integration efforts onsite with clients, providing expert guidance during deployment and hypercare.
  • Project Execution : Deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines, ensuring timely and scalable integration solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • SAP Integration : 5+ years of SAP integration experience, including :
  • 3+ years in SAP CPI-DS and SAP Data Intelligence (SDI)
  • 4+ end-to-end SAP CPI-DS project implementations
  • 1+ full-cycle SAP SDI project
  • Data Integration Mastery :
  • IBP ↔ ECC / S4 / APO / HANA integration expertise
  • Proficient in working with XML outputs and inputs
  • Advanced knowledge of CPI scripting and task management
  • Technical Proficiency :
  • Hands-on with ABAP fundamentals
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP add-ons and extractors
  • Functional Awareness : Strong functional understanding of SAP S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, and IBP structures and processes.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

  • HANA Expertise : Understanding of HANA tables, Virtual Data Models (VDM), and OData.
  • API Integration : Familiarity with MuleSoft and RAML specifications.
  • IBP Functional Modules : Exposure to Demand Planning, SOP, Inventory Optimization, and Supply Planning.
  • SAP PI / PO : Experience with SAP Process Integration or Orchestration environments.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and lead cross-functional teams.
