Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake , Azure Data Services , and PySpark . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , PySpark , and Snowflake .
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data marts in Snowflake .
  • Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for efficient data processing.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into a unified data platform.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
  • Implement data quality, data governance, and security best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Azure services.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies in cloud data engineering and analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–16 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning).
  • Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Azure Databricks , and Azure Synapse .
  • Proficient in PySpark and Python for data transformation.
  • Strong SQL programming and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and version control (e.G., Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with data governance , security , and compliance in Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with Power BI , Azure Synapse Analytics , or Data Lake Storage (ADLS) .
  • Exposure to DevOps , Terraform , or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
  • Knowledge of machine learning pipelines or real-time data processing .
  • Snowflake or Azure certifications.
