Job Description : - The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis, GD&T and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects
Job Responsibilities : -
DVA Engineer creates and maintains DVA models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle. He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer.
Technical Skills : -
- Experience in Chassis & Body Components / Interior Trim / Exterior Trim Domains
- Good working knowledge of 2D & 3D Tolerance Stack up Analysis
- Good knowledge & understanding of GD&T Standard (preferred ASME Y14.5)
- Hand on Experience in any of the variation analysis software’s
- Knowledge of Fixture / Tool Design, Facility and Assembly Process preferred
- Development Support for Primary Locating Points (PLP), GD&T, Craftmanship & CTQ assessments as well active involvement toward meeting the dimensional targets and functional objectives
- Provide technical support to cross functional teams
- Support Optical Quality and Perceived Quality requirements
