Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated WordPress Developer Intern to join our team for a 2-month internship. This is an unpaid opportunity, ideal for students or freshers eager to gain real-world experience in website development and platform building.

As a WordPress Developer Intern, you will be responsible for developing and customizing core features of the MentorPace platform, including role-based dashboards and booking functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and customize WordPress pages for different user roles :

2. SuperAdmin Page – full control over platform and users

3. Admin Pages – faculty / counselor dashboards

4. Customer Booking Pages – session booking and payment integration

5. Install, configure, and optimize WordPress plugins for functionality and performance.

6.Ensure responsive design and smooth user experience across devices.

7. Collaborate with the UI / UX team to integrate designs into functional pages.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress and plugins.

9. Contribute ideas to improve the platform's functionality and scalability.

Requirements

1.Strong understanding of WordPress CMS and its ecosystem.

2. Knowledge of plugin installation, customization, and configuration.

3. Ability to work on role-based dashboards (SuperAdmin, Admin, User).

4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP basics.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

6. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with booking or appointment plugins.

2. Knowledge of database management in WordPress.

3. Prior internship or project experience in web development.
