Kafka Architect – 10+ Years Experience

Location : Hybrid (Chennai / Bangalore / Pune / Coimbatore)

Working Hours : 2 PM to 11 PM IST

We’re seeking a visionary Kafka Architect with deep expertise in Spring Boot and distributed systems to lead the design and implementation of high-throughput, real-time data streaming platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in architecting scalable, fault-tolerant systems and enjoys mentoring teams in cutting-edge event-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement robust Kafka-based event-driven architectures for mission-critical, real-time applications.
• Build and maintain Spring Boot microservices that seamlessly integrate with Kafka for efficient event production and consumption.
• Define and optimize Kafka cluster configurations including brokers, partitions, replication strategies, schema registry, access control, and monitoring.
• Partner with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines, scaling strategies, and observability for Kafka clusters.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and compliance with data governance standards across distributed systems.
• Tune Kafka for maximum throughput, minimal latency, and efficient storage utilization.
• Drive adoption and integration of stream processing frameworks such as Kafka Streams, kSQL, Apache Flink, or Spark Streaming.
• Work closely with solution architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to design event-driven workflows and data pipelines.
• Establish reusable design patterns, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for Kafka + Spring Boot integrations.
• Lead root cause analysis and performance tuning for production issues in Kafka-based systems.
