About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to drive the design, development, and validation of advanced power electronics systems for electric vehicles (EVs), focusing on high-voltage battery applications .

This role will contribute to shaping the next generation of EV propulsion and energy storage systems while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of DC-DC converters, onboard chargers (OBC), inverters, and BMS interfaces
• Define system architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams for integration
• Simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits using PLECS, MATLAB / Simulink, LTspice
• Guide PCB layout for high-power designs ensuring EMI / EMC compliance and thermal management
• Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments
• Evaluate and select components such as IGBTs, SiC / GaN FETs, gate drivers, magnetics, and capacitors
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation
• Manage requirements, system integration, test strategy, and issue resolution
• Document system requirements and specifications with traceable test cases for smooth validation
