Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Management & Reporting :

  • Supervise and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures as per IFRS / GAAP Standards.

Taxation & Compliance :

  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.

    • Internal Controls & Audits :

  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and assist in both internal and external audits.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.

    • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial guidance to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.

    • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Education : B.Com and / or semi – qualified CA
  • Experience : 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a mid-management role.
  • Industry Preference : Real Estate (preferred), Hospitality
  • Technical Skills :

    • o Expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.

    o Proficiency in ERP systems (Zoho Preferred) and MS Excel.

    o Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax laws.
