About the Role :

KPMG India is looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join its Social and Rural Development practice as a Specialist - Financial Management and Monitoring.

This role is instrumental in supporting large-scale development initiatives aligned with India's inclusive growth agenda. The focus areas include Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Employment, Women & Child Welfare, Housing, Financial & Social Inclusion, Livelihoods, and Social Protection.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage infrastructure projects with a strong focus on financial management, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, auditing protocols, and computerized financial systems.
• Utilize advanced tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Work extensively with Public Financial Management Systems (PFMS) and other government financial procedures.
• Provide insights on statutory and tax regulations, internal controls, and banking arrangements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
