Leading Improvement Projects : Executing and leading small to medium-scale improvement projects within their department using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, particularly the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) model.
Data Collection and Analysis : Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data using statistical tools (like Minitab) to identify the root causes of process inefficiencies, quality problems, and variations.
Process Mapping and Documentation : Creating process maps (such as SIPOC diagrams) and flowcharts to visualize current processes, identify areas for improvement, and document project activities, findings, and solutions.
Collaboration : Assisting Black Belts on larger, more complex, cross-functional projects and collaborating with various stakeholders across different departments (Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, etc.) to ensure seamless implementation of changes.
Implementing Solutions and Control : Developing and implementing solutions to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality, while also establishing control plans and metrics to ensure that improvements are sustained over time.
Mentoring and Training : Providing coaching and mentoring to Yellow Belts and other team members on Six Sigma tools and techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Reporting to Management : Updating progress on projects and presenting formal reports and insights to senior stakeholders and management frequently.
