ROLE OVERVIEW / PURPOSE :
The role involves handling end-to-end accounting and compliance for GCCL, including day-to-day financial operations, monthly and quarterly book closures, and preparation of financial statements with audits. The position requires managing purchase and payment processes, inter-company transactions, distributor claims, and transition-related activities. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., 194R, UCPMP) while supporting smooth financial operations and controls of the new company setup.
Role - Activities, Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Managing the day to day accounting of GCCL
2. Monthly & quarterly books closing
3. Preparation of financial statements and its audit
4. Managing the recording of FG purchase, its payment processing etc.
5. Inter-company cross charge working, invoicing and its monitoring
6. Monitoring of distributors claims, issuance and balance of new company
7. Management of transition related works like true up etc.
8. Taking care of relevant compliance of new company e.g. 194R, UCPMP etc.
