Software Engineer in Test

Job role - Senior Automation Engineer - Playwright / Java

Location : Bangalore, 5 days / week

Experience : 3+ Years of full-time

Notice Period : Immediate joiners only.

Interview Round : 2 Rounds (1. technical - need to share screen and coding .). 2. Tech

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI and end-to-end testing .

Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Contribute to deployment pipelines and continuous integration processes .

Identify, document, and track bugs; take ownership of quality throughout the SDLC.

Drive improvements in testing frameworks, tools, and processes.

Requirements :

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript or Python).

Good understanding of UI testing, API testing , and automation best practices.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control (Git) .

Strong problem-solving , debugging , and ownership mindset.

Solid coding expertise .

Bonus :

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
