Job Description : SAP MDG consultant

Experience - 2 to 6 Years

Location : Mumbai & Ahmedabad

Notice period

• Immediate joiners to 60 days

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Solution Design :

Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions for MDG.

Configuration & Development :

Configure standard SAP MDG components and develop custom solutions using tools like ABAP, BRF+, FPM, and Fiori (UI5).

Data Modeling & Workflows :

Design and implement data models, validation rules, and approval workflows within the SAP MDG framework.

Integration :

Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ECC / S / 4HANA and other external legacy systems and third-party platforms.

Data Quality Management :

Lead data governance initiatives, including data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and mass data maintenance.

Documentation :

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.

Team Leadership :

Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to other team members and stakeholders.

Technical Support :

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MDG implementations and manage enhancement requests.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP MDG Expertise :

Extensive experience with SAP MDG technical configuration and functional aspects across multiple domains (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance).

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in ABAP, BRF+, FPM, UI5, and experience with data replication using SOA services or ALE.

Leadership & Communication :

Strong leadership, project management, and excellent communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Data Governance Principles :

In-depth understanding of master data governance frameworks, data quality management, and best practices.

Integration Experience :

Proven ability to integrate SAP MDG with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

Problem-Solving :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges.
