Rust Developer

Key Responsibilities :

Software Development : Design, develop, and implement software applications and systems in Rust. Ensure code quality, efficiency, and maintainability.

Code Optimization : Optimize existing Rust code for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.

Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Drive the adoption of Rust best practices within the team.

Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Rust applications. Implement robust solutions to prevent future issues.

Continuous Learning : Stay abreast of the latest developments in the Rust ecosystem and broader software engineering field. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Testing and Documentation : Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests for Rust applications. Ensure thorough documentation for code and technical processes.

Project Management : Participate in project planning and management. Ensure timely delivery of software projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 2 years of software development experience, with a significant focus on Rust programming.

Profound knowledge of Rust language features, its standard library, and ecosystem.

Experience with systems programming, concurrency, and memory management in Rust.

Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
