Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Certification Specialist to work within the Informed commercial team to further establish our presence in India.

You'll work closely with customers, our Programme Management, and commercial teams to on-board new certifications, maintain customer satisfaction and retention, ensure compliance, and qualify manufacturers for approval. Reporting to the Senior Strategic Account Manager - Regional Lead, you’ll work closely with regional customers and cross-functional teams to deliver best in class customer support.

This is an opportunity to combine customer service, compliance, and teamwork to serve and expand our India customer base.

  • Customer Engagement : Lead customer on-boarding from engagement call to successful certification, to maintenance throughout the certificate life-cycle.
  • Manage the certification journey : Drive certification through internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Maintain system accuracy : Update the CRM system continuously to ensure accuracy and drive compliance.
  • Manage lead queue : Manage Salesforce inbound leads to address FAQs, screen and qualify inbound leads, and route or close appropriately.
  • Perform on-site assessments : As a part of the Manufacturer certification process, conduct on-site assessments against a checklist, perform environmental swabbing, and educate manufacturers about the benefits and requirements of the programme.

Qualifications

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably food / supplement safety or certification related.
  • Sales & Engagement – Capable of uncovering needs, demand generation, persuasion and negotiation.
  • Leadership – Places high value on relationship management and teamwork
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Tenacity in problem solving – ability to stay with a problem until a solution has been obtained.
  • Good understanding of the food, non-food, supply chain and / or retail sector is preferred.
  • Good understanding & appreciation of the testing, inspection and certification industry as it relates to food or supplement supply and retail is preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, and consensus building skills.
  • Keenly attentive to detail
  • Vision : sees beyond the present, anticipates future needs, and then proactively prepares self and others.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience with on-site audits.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments and with diverse customer groups.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
