Mid-Level Interior Designer

Company Description Established in 1993, ours is a 100% export oriented unit and our customers are well known multinationals across the globe. We produce home furniture in sheet metal, tubes and plastic molding. Given our experience in the home furnishing sector, we have recently launched a new vertical focused on luxury architecture and interior design. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a Senior Interior Designer you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing all aspects of the interior design process. Collaborating closely with clients, architects, and project management team, you will be responsible for translating visions into reality by conceptualizing, planning and implementing design solutions. Your expertise and creative finesse will be vital in elevating the overall quality and innovation of our designs. This is a full time, onsite position based in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to : Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to project completion, ensuring a seamless and unparalleled experience for our clients. Conduct comprehensive client consultations to understand their preferences, needs, and lifestyle to create truly bespoke design concepts. Develop detailed design proposals, including mood boards, material selections, color schemes, and furniture layouts, while adhering to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate design elements seamlessly into the construction process. Source and liaise with vendors, artisans, and suppliers to procure materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the project's design vision. Proficiency in making FF&E drawings Experience in drafting GFC drawings, sections and elevations and making BOQ’s QUALIFIATIONS Bachelor's and preferably Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Proven experience of at least 5+ years as an interior designer, with a portfolio showcasing your expertise. In-depth knowledge of space planning, furniture design, lighting, textiles, and color theory. Proficiency in AutoCAD required. Knowledge of Excel, Photoshop and SketchUp is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality. A network of industry connections, including vendors, suppliers, and artisans, is a plus.
