Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a FileNet Developer and Administrator. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions using the IBM FileNet P8 platform for our global clients. This dual role requires a strong blend of development expertise in Java APIs and administration skills related to system configuration, support, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

Development :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable FileNet-based enterprise content management and business process management (BPM) solutions.
Customize IBM Content Navigator (ICN) through plugin development and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Develop and enhance workflows using FileNet Process Designer and implement solutions within IBM Case Manager / BAW (Business Automation Workflow).
Utilize FileNet Java APIs (Content Engine API, Process Engine API) for custom application development and integration with other enterprise systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

Administration :

Manage, configure, and maintain the IBM FileNet P8 environment, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

Perform installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations across different FileNet environments.

Administer security settings, object stores, document classes, and lifecycle policies using tools like ACCE (Administration Console for Content Platform Engine).

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues across FileNet, WebSphere Application Server, and integrated databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).

Provide ongoing support and perform root cause analysis for production incidents, ensuring timely resolution.

Automate deployment processes for case solutions and related components using tools like FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM) and potentially DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Git).

Technical Proficiency :

Strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8 components : Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), IBM Content Navigator (ICN), and IBM Case Manager / BAW.

Proficiency in programming languages : Java / J2EE and web technologies.

Experience with FileNet APIs, web services (SOAP / REST), and SQL scripting.

Familiarity with application servers like IBM WebSphere.

Exposure to tools such as IBM Datacap, Records Manager, and Agile / DevOps methodologies is a plus.
