Job description

Job Title : International Sales Executive

Location : Mumbai

Company : Boston Institute of Analytics

Job Summary :

The International Sales Executive at Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) plays a dual role—driving global student enrollments and building BIA’s international presence across multiple markets such as the US, UK, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

This is both a student-facing and business development role that involves managing the entire sales cycle : reaching out to prospective leads, counseling them about relevant programs, scheduling sessions with academic advisors, following up for conversions, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

The position requires excellent spoken English (preferably with a neutral, UK, or US accent), strong persuasion skills, and the ability to adapt communication styles for international audiences.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales & Lead Conversion

  • Initiate outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest via digital campaigns, web forms, or referrals.
  • Engage with international prospects through calls, emails, and virtual meetings across different time zones.
  • Clearly articulate BIA’s value proposition, course structure, certifications, and global career opportunities.
  • Understand the goals, needs, and motivations of each lead, and suggest the most relevant programs or certifications.
  • Handle objections tactfully, build trust through personalized engagement, and convert interest into confirmed enrollments.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of each lead’s status using CRM tools and report conversion progress regularly.

2. Counseling Session Coordination

  • Schedule and confirm personalized one-on-one counseling sessions between prospective students and BIA’s academic advisors.
  • Follow up after counseling sessions to address additional questions and guide the lead toward enrollment.
  • Keep counselors informed about each lead’s progress, readiness, and any support required for conversion.
  • 3. Lead Nurturing & Follow-Up

  • Proactively follow up with leads at every stage—cold, warm, and hot—across phone, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Reconnect with previously engaged leads using new course updates, scholarship opportunities, and success stories.
  • Maintain a professional tone in all communication and ensure consistent engagement until the enrollment decision.
  • 4. International Market Development (New Additions)

  • Explore new global markets, identify target regions, and contribute to international student acquisition strategies.
  • Build and manage relationships with educational agents, study-abroad consultants, and institutional partners in other countries.
  • Research global education trends, regional student motivations, and emerging market opportunities to support BIA’s expansion.
  • Support marketing teams with insights on cultural preferences, communication tone, and localization needs.
  • 5. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term trust with international students, alumni, and partner institutions.
  • Coordinate virtual demos, informational webinars, and consultations to enhance student experience.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all enrolled international students and handle any post-enrollment support.
  • 6. Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve weekly and monthly targets for lead contact, conversion, and enrollment.
  • Prepare daily activity and conversion reports, providing insight into lead quality and sales performance.
  • Share on-ground and international market feedback with marketing and academic teams to optimize campaign targeting.
  • 7. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with counselors, academic teams, and marketing to maintain a unified communication approach.
  • Participate in regular product and sales training to stay updated on new course offerings and features.
  • Support internal teams with CRM best practices, feedback collection, and process improvements.
  • Qualifications :

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, tele-counseling, or international BPO roles—preferably for global (US / UK) markets or education services.
  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills; fluent in English (neutral or international accent preferred).
  • Experience handling international students, clients, or partners across time zones.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems, lead dashboards, and sales reporting tools.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • A background in EdTech, study-abroad consulting, or global education sales is an added advantage.
