VMC Setter & Operator

Job Description :

GreenMech Automation is looking for an experienced VMC Setter & Operator to join our precision machining team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces for VMC operations.
• Load and run machining programs efficiently and safely.
• Adjust offsets, tool lengths, and parameters to achieve required accuracy.
• Inspect machined parts using precision instruments ( vernier, micrometer, height gauge , etc.).
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawings.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with programmers and quality team for process improvements.
