We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior IT Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. The Senior IT Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for IT positions across multiple functions and levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technology industry, a proven track record of full-cycle recruiting, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment Strategy & Execution :
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and job specifications for IT roles.
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to source top-tier candidates for technical roles including software engineers, IT analysts, network engineers, and other IT specialists.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to negotiating offers and onboarding.
Actively utilize job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other sourcing methods to attract candidates.
Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely and effective communication.
Candidate Sourcing & Networking :
Source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals.
Build a network of passive candidates for future hiring needs.
Leverage creative sourcing techniques to engage candidates with hard-to-fill skill sets.
Interviewing & Evaluation :
Conduct initial phone screenings and in-depth technical interviews with candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical leads.
Provide detailed feedback to hiring managers and guide them through the selection process.
Market Intelligence :
Stay updated with trends in the IT job market and industry developments to ensure effective talent attraction and retention.
Analyze compensation trends and ensure competitive offers to attract top talent.
Maintain knowledge of industry-specific technologies and certifications.
Hiring & Offer Negotiation :
Extend offers and negotiate compensation packages in alignment with the company's policies and candidate expectations.
Ensure all pre-employment processes (background checks, reference checks, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.
Collaboration & Teamwork :
Work closely with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and insights with other recruiters and team members.
Partner with external staffing agencies and vendors as needed.
Data & Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of candidates, applicants, and hiring status in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on recruitment metrics and progress.
Requirements :
Experience : At least 3 to 5 years in recruitment, preferably in corporate or mid-sized service sectors.
Work Model : Candidates must be comfortable working from the office.
Technical Acumen : Strong understanding of technology stacks and job portals; a good LinkedIn presence is a plus.
Educational Background : Preferably B.Tech, BCA, or MCA graduates, as they tend to grasp JDs more effectively.
Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to manage and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Independence & Problem-Solving : Need individuals who are proactive, solution-driven, and can work independently.
Communication Skills : Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
