Database Developer

Job description

• Database Design & Development :  Design, develop, and implement database systems and structures to support business requirements. This includes writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Performance Tuning :  Monitor and optimize database performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure that the database operates efficiently.
• Data Integration :  Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources. Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data migration and transformation tasks.
• Data Security & Backup :  Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information. Set up and manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaboration :  Work with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
• Troubleshooting :  Diagnose and resolve database-related issues. Provide support for database-related problems and work on debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Documentation :  Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for database schemas, data dictionaries, and other relevant technical information.
• Continuous Improvement :  Stay updated with the latest SQL Server features, best practices, and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to existing database systems.
