Job description

Job Purpose

To lead our Travel Division's sales strategy and execution across multiple geographies. The role involves full P&L ownership , target-driven leadership , and building a high-performing second line to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in travel sales, multi-location operations, and international markets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall sales strategy for the travel division across domestic and international markets
  • Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion in line with business objectives
  • Take complete P&L ownership for the travel vertical, ensuring revenue targets and profitability are met
  • Ensure effective handling, nurturing, and conversion of leads.
  • Monitor the quality of consultants and sales calls through audits and feedback mechanisms.
  • Negotiate and close high value deals
  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong second line of sales leaders across regions
  • Develop performance-oriented sales incentive structures and recognition programs to motivate consultants
  • Monitor daily / weekly / monthly sales performance and implement corrective actions where needed
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to align offerings with market demand
  • Provide regular performance analysis report to management

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate market trends, competitor movements, and customer insights to adapt strategy
  • Conduct regular business reviews with leaders to track performance and share best practices
  • Support the development of new services, pricing models, and sales enablement tools
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management from a reputed institute is preferred
  • Experience : .

  • 10yrs+ of progressive experience in Sales and Business Development, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large, multi-location teams
  • Prior experience managing P&L responsibilities and scaling business operations across multiple regions or countries
  • Strong background in team development, sales planning, forecasting, and driving performance through structured metrics
  • Skills & Competencies (Must Have)

  • Proven track record of leading high-performance sales teams across regions
  • Excellent P&L and financial acumen
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities
  • Ability to drive performance culture and execute under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently across regions
  • Skills & Competencies (Good To Have)

    Understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and data analytics tools
