Job description3-5 years in : Product management Program / Project management Founders’ Office / Chief of Staff roles Startup operations Consulting + product exposure Experience working closely with founders / leadership Experience owning end-to-end initiatives Structured thinking Strong program management Operational rigour Product sensibility Analytical decision-making Excellent written + verbal communication Stakeholder management Ability to simplify complex problems Drive execution across Sales, Ops, Product, Tech, BD, Digital, Brand & CX Convert CEO’s vision into measurable outcomes Build systems, processes, dashboards, and operational excellence foundations Solve cross-team dependencies and unblock execution Step into leadership gaps until permanently filled Scale the business towards operational maturity and profitability Become the CEO’s single-most trusted operating partner Turn CEO priorities into structured plans with owners, deadlines, and KPIs Track execution across the company and ensure timeline discipline Preempt risks and escalate only after solutions are attempted Act as the CEO’s “second brain” for decision-making and clarity Own high-importance projects end-to-end Revenue - Sales, BD, Marketing & Brand Operations - CS Ops, Logistics Product – Product, Tech & Analytics Shared – HR, & Finance Build new SOPs across departments Strengthen cross-department workflows Build dashboards for real-time visibility Implement SLA discipline across Sales, Ops, Delivery, Acharyas Automate manual processes wherever possible Introduce org-wide rituals, cadences, and review cycles. workflows operational automation resource allocation data-led forecasting business scaling customer experience design Build daily / weekly / monthly business reports Track top-line + unit economics + quality metrics Run RCA (root cause analysis) on operational failures Recommend improvements backed by data Present insights to CEO for decision-making City expansion New product line launches Vendor ecosystem development Tech infrastructure upgrades Operational automation initiatives Hiring key leadership roles

Career Path : Chief of Staff → Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Educational Background :
- MBA (Tier 1 / Tier 2) - Preferable but not mandatory
- B.Tech in Computer Science or allied fields (strongly preferred)

Role Summary :
The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the CEO is the strategic, operational, and organisational engine behind Teertham.
This role is designed explicitly as a COO‑track position , where the candidate spends 12–24 months deeply embedded in all business functions, mastering execution, systems, and leadership before taking over the entire operations charter.
The CoS will :
