Job Title : Learning Experience Designer

About the Role :
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Learning Experience Designer with 4–5 years of experience in instructional design and experiential learning. The ideal candidate has a strong grounding in adult learning principles and a flair for designing immersive, game-based, and measurable learning experiences that deliver real behaviour change.
At Skills Café, we believe learning must be holistic and outcome-driven —spanning pre-assessment, meaningful learning journeys, post-assessment, and impact measurement. You will play a key role in bringing this philosophy to life across projects, ensuring that every program is engaging, practical, and aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Design :
- Design end-to-end learning journeys that include pre-assessment, learning delivery, post-assessment, and impact measurement.
- Develop engaging and practical learning programs across formats—ILT, virtual classrooms, eLearning, microlearning, and blended experiences.
- Conceptualize and design game-based and experiential learning formats —board games, role-play simulations, scenario-based learning, and storytelling.
- Ensure learning designs align with Skills Café’s principles of relevance, reflection, and real-world application .
Instructional Strategy :
Apply adult learning principles, design thinking, and agile design methods to create meaningful learning experiences.Translate client requirements into measurable learning outcomes and cohesive learning architectures.Use data and learner feedback to iterate, refine, and enhance learning impact.Collaboration & Delivery :
Work closely with facilitators, visual designers, and tech teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality learning solutions.Partner with clients to understand learning needs and propose creative, research-backed solutions.Support the team in pilot testing, evaluating, and continuously improving learning designs.Measurement & Evaluation :
Design formative and summative assessments that measure learning effectiveness.Apply recognized evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick, performance-based metrics) to track learning impact.Generate insights and recommendations based on learner feedback and performance data.Qualifications & Experience
4–5 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design.Strong expertise in designing experiential, game-based, and story-driven learning.Proficient in authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, or equivalent.Solid understanding of adult learning, behaviour change models, and design thinking.Experience working on blended and digital learning formats.Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing timelines and deliverables.What We Offer
