Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title : Electrical Engineer

Education : BE in Electrical Engineering

Experience : 4 to 6 years of total work experience in Design and Engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Preparation & review of technical specifications for complete AC electrical systems (Transformers, HT / LT Switchgear panels, Cables, UPS, Chargers, Substation equipment).

Development of design basis reports & electrical calculations (Load schedule, adequacy checks, cable sizing, earthing, lightning protection, interconnection diagrams).

Preparation of substation equipment layouts, cable tray / trench layouts, earthing, illumination, lightning protection, busduct & switchyard layouts.

Review & approval of detailed designs, drawings, and procedures for transmission & substation components (step-up transformers, switchyard, grid interfacing).

Preparation of RfPs for key components such as transformers, HT / LT panels, UPS, batteries & chargers, SCADA.

Design & execution of fault level analysis and relay coordination.
