(Immediate Start) Equity & Portfolio Research Analyst

Aveksat Financial Advisory is a respected and growing 9+ year old SEBI Registered Investment Advisory and advises clients on direct equity investment and portfolio management. We only deal in direct equity investment in the listed space.

We advise many HNI, NRI and Family Office investors in India and abroad. We also have a web based retail advisory service.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Equity Research and Portfolio Analyst located in the Greater Kolkata Area (New Town). The Equity and Portfolio Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial research and analysis, and generating reports for internal use and help the CEO in assisting Portfolio Advisory function by providing research and information inputs.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Arithmetic Skills and prior at least 1 - 3 years experience in Equity Research and related areas.
• Curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or related field as long as he / she has prior exposure and knowledge of Fundamental Equity Research
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and ability to verbally express oneself in any language cogently (English / Hindi / Bengali).
• Ability to use different productivity tools like Chat GPT innovatively.
• Willingness to work independently after proper induction and initial hand holding.

Candidates Must Have to be comfortable working with excel and prior exposure to working with Ace Equity or Capital Line is desirable (not essential).

If you have a good academic foundation, knowledge and basic experience, we can quickly sharpen your skills but we can't teach you the basics.

We work 6 days a week - 5 days attendance to the office and 1 day work from home is permissible. Confidentiality, Deadline and Quality of Work is sacrosanct and we are flexible on other issues like compensation and benefits within reasonable limits.

Position has very good growth potential to become a valuable research and portfolio analyst.

Initial probation period is six months.
