PC Localization Engineer

As a Localization Engineer – PC, you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation.

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles.

Build and maintain scripts / tools to automate localization workflows.

Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets.

Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues.

Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation.

Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.

2–4+ years in localization engineering or related technical role.

Strong understanding of localization workflows and file formats (JSON, XML, CSV).

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience with debugging encoding and automation issues.

Familiarity with Git or version control tools.

Experience in PC software or game development is a plus.
