We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage the organization’s human resources operations with a strong focus on compliance, statutory obligations, and generalist HR functions . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s HR practices align with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements while fostering a positive, transparent, and performance-driven work culture. This role demands a professional who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to balance compliance rigor with employee engagement and organizational goals.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

1. Statutory and Legal Compliance :

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws, statutory requirements, and government regulations across multiple locations.
  • Manage end-to-end statutory filings, audits, and inspections related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, and other applicable labor legislations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government bodies to maintain seamless compliance processes.
  • Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and ensure timely policy updates and organizational alignment.
  • Maintain all statutory records and registers as per the latest compliance requirements.

2. HR Generalist Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and exits.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees, ensuring smooth communication and conflict resolution.
  • Support workforce planning and manpower budgeting in coordination with department heads.
  • Manage HR operations such as attendance, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee documentation.
  • 3. Employee Relations and Engagement :

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote motivation, retention, and a positive work culture.
  • Counsel employees and address grievances in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic HR audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to company code of conduct, disciplinary processes, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
  • 4. Performance and Policy Management :

  • Facilitate the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect organizational changes and compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to line managers and team leaders on policy interpretation and application.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–14 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong emphasis on statutory compliance and HR generalist functions .
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory filings, and compliance management tools.
  • Proven experience in handling audits, inspections, and external statutory agencies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office applications.
