Job Title : ECAD-Teamcenter Integration Specialist

Location : Bangalore

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ECAD-Teamcenter Integration Specialist with a strong background in EPLAN Electric and Altium design tools to support and enhance our product lifecycle management (PLM) processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating ECAD systems with Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring seamless data exchange, version control, and collaborative engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the integration of ECAD tools with Teamcenter, defining best practices for data management (schematics, PCBs, libraries, BOMs).
  • Develop custom integrations and configurations using Teamcenter ITK, SOA, AWC, and programming languages (C++, Java, Python).
  • Optimize Teamcenter workflows for ECAD design release, change management, and revision control.
  • Manage ECAD data lifecycle within Teamcenter, including creation, revision control, and release processes.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, PLM administrators, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Support ECAD data migration, validation, and synchronization between EPLAN, Altium, and Teamcenter environments.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide technical support to end-users on ECAD-Teamcenter workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices related to ECAD and PLM integration.
  • Stay updated on latest EPLAN, Altium, and Teamcenter features and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with at least two major ECAD tools (EPLAN, Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).
  • Proven experience in integrating ECAD systems with Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Strong understanding of PLM concepts, data structures, and engineering workflows.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter ITK, SOA, AWC development, and programming (C++, Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with database management and API usage related to Teamcenter and ECAD tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
