We are looking for a qualified and experienced 'Airfield Drainage Engineer' to further build our existing strong capability in the Aviation sector. Jacobs business continues to grow to meet the needs of our clients who are investing in this capacity and across the region.

This is a full-time position, and this individual will be based in our Jacobs India office .

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Good understanding of hydraulic and hydrological principles
• Preparation of DRB, Design reports and technical specifications for Storm water drainage and related works
• Responsible for design and delivery management in coordination with other disciplines
• Preparation of various drainage related drawings at various stages of projects including drainage layout plans, profiles, typical drainage sections, cross-sections and GAD for structural & other utility coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other design disciplines within an agreed engineering management environment to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.
• Strong leadership, good communication skills with teams and stakeholders
• Practical experience in fieldwork related to drainage projects.
• Familiarity with CWC guidelines, Indian and International Codal provisions
• Proficient in drainage modelling software Bentley Civil Storm / SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS.
• Hands-on knowledge of QGIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD is preferrable.
• Provide inputs to BoQ and Costing engineer
• Prepare Design basis, scope and technical specifications for Tender purpose
• Willingness to contribute to work on Proposal submission in parallel whenever required
