Job Description :

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Security Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain security controls across our cloud (AWS) and on-premises infrastructure . You will identify vulnerabilities , assess risks , and deploy scalable security solutions while collaborating with engineering, IT, and compliance teams . The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise , a security-first mindset , and the ability to build secure-by-design architectures that support business agility without compromising protection.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud architecture ensuring security best practices and compliance .

Conduct security audits , risk assessments , and vulnerability scans , remediating threats across cloud and on-prem systems.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into CI / CD pipelines and promote secure coding practices .

Monitor cloud environments for anomalies, threats, and vulnerabilities using AWS-native and third-party tools .

Implement encryption , network segmentation , secure logging , and automated remediation strategies .

Build and maintain Terraform modules to automate secure provisioning of cloud resources.

Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks ( ISO27001, SOC2 , etc.).

Mentor and support cross-functional teams on security best practices .

Qualifications & Skills :

Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Python, Node.js , and DevOps tools ( Jenkins, Git, SonarQube ).

Familiarity with microservices architecture, Kubernetes , and container orchestration .

Knowledge of PKI , identity / access management , and cloud security tools .

Experience with security audits , compliance frameworks , and regulatory requirements .

Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills .

Professional certifications like AWS Security, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.

Comfortable working in a remote, large-scale, or multi-regional environment .
