Resonia (Erstwhile Sterlite Power and Transmission) looking for an Assistant Manager- O&M- in Kishtwar- Jammu for its GIS - SS.

Location- Kishtwar

Exp- 5 to 10 years

Education- B.Tech / B.E- Electrical

Role Purpose- The Protection Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical transmission substation. This role involves study the approved design, implement, and maintain protection schemes to safeguard the electrical infrastructure against faults and failures.

KRA- 1) Study, analyze and implement approved protection schemes.

Investigate and analyze system faults and disturbances. Investigate and analyze system faults and disturbances.

2) Perform system protection and control studies to ensure the reliability and safety of substation equipment’s and grids

3) Analyze and interpret data from electrical systems to identify potential issues and implement solutions.

4) Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of protection systems during construction and O&M phase.

5) Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of protection equipment to ensure optimal performance.

6) Coordinate with engineering team, utilities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Essential - At least 6 to 8 years of experience in substations activities Understanding of tender documents, contracts, bill of quantities, project costing & Right of way etc.

Desirable- Experience with advanced protection technologies and systems.
