About the Role

We're looking for an experienced n8n Developer with a strong background in Python-based automation, backend development, and workflow design .

In this role, you'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing complex n8n automation workflows that connect internal systems, SaaS tools, and APIs.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — engineering, data, and operations — to streamline business processes, improve data flows, and enhance productivity through automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable n8n workflows to automate business and technical processes.
Develop custom n8n nodes using JavaScript or TypeScript when native integrations are not available.
Integrate APIs, CRMs, databases, and internal tools using RESTful APIs, webhooks, and OAuth2 .
Use Python to create external automation scripts, data transformation pipelines, and backend logic.
Optimize and refactor existing workflows for reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Manage deployment and scaling of self-hosted n8n instances using Docker, Linux, and CI / CD pipelines.
Collaborate with DevOps and data teams to integrate n8n with databases, message queues, and monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot, debug, and monitor workflows; implement robust error handling and recovery mechanisms.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, integrations, and automation logic.
Stay updated on emerging tools and frameworks in workflow automation and low-code integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of professional software development experience , with strong hands-on work in Python .

2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining workflows in n8n .

Proven experience integrating systems via APIs , webhooks , and OAuth2 authentication .

Strong understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and data transformation.

Familiarity with Docker , Linux , and cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Proficiency in using Git , GitHub Actions , or GitLab CI / CD for version control and deployment.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and documentation abilities.
