Field Engineer - RF

Role :

Field Support Engineer assigned to do all relevant tasks on field

Location : Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad / Trivandrum

Key Responsibilities :

I&FR

Feasibility, Service Delivery & Assurance - first time right & within SLA

Timely Material recovery & deposit in Store.

Basic office expenses / petty cash management

Inventory / Spares Management

Proper handling & upkeep / safety of tools & equipments

Able to work on Fiber as well as UBR radios

Efficient in proper computer handling & demonstrate internet services

Managing utility of sites

Take ownership for all sites to ensure sufficient power backup, check UPS and battery every week

Ensure sufficient fuel in DG at all times & reach on site timely to avoid outages. Conduct DG testing every week, maintain log book of DG and submit readings of DG battery and testing every week

Capable to work in long shifts & overnight, available on call for emergencies

Conduct Regular Preventive Maintenance of sites (POP / customer)

Administrative Management

Basic office expenses / petty cash management

Co-ordinate with Telco / local ISPs for permission / access

Maintain Infra / client database & ensure disaster management

Safety

Adhering to safety regulations, legal norms and work procedures

Essentials : Education

ITI preferable

Experience

Min 2 year relevant experience

Competencies

Previous work experience as an Engineer

Basic Knowledge of Electrical load - Stabilizer / UPS / battery etc

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix any problems that may arise

Ability to work at heights

Take instructions from TL / Supervisor / engineer & co-ordinate with colleagues / customer / others for carrying out his tasks
