Java Software Engineer

Minimum 6 years in application development

Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in software development

At least 3 years of experience in cloud computing, preferably Azure.

Location – Hyderabad , Bangalore

Mandatory :

Methodology - Agile (Scrum) & Waterfall

JAVA / JEE

Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data

AngularJS, JSP, JSF, AJAX, JQUERY, HTML5, CSS3.

TDD Testing Frameworks - JUnit, Mockito or similar.

Webservice experience using JAX-WS and RESTful web services.

Build Tools – Maven, Gradle

IDEs –VSCode, IntelliJ, Eclipse, RAD

JMETER, Postman, SOAP UI

Application servers - IBM WAS, Tomcat.

Source code repositories - GIT.

JIRA / Rally and other tracking tools.

Experience with Databases such as DB2 / Oracle

CI and CD Experience with Jenkins / Hudson / Bamboo

Cloud Experience :

Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, Key Vault, etc)

Containerisation : Docker,OR Kubernetes

Monitoring & logging : Azure Monitor, App Insights

Highly desirable skills :

Experience with Open-source Java Libraries

JS Frameworks like AngularJS, Responsive Web Development

Knowledge of EAI systems

Performance tuning / diagnostics / monitoring tools experience.

Experience in App modernization / Upgrade programs.

GitHub Copilot certification

Java and Cloud developer certifications.
