Network Engineer

Job Summary :

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network systems across LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and wireless networks).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention, and access control.
• Support and manage VPN, SD-WAN, and remote access solutions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory of devices.
• Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and vendors for troubleshooting and optimization.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Ensure network compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide support during outages and participate in an on-call rotation if required.
• Research and recommend network improvements and emerging technologies.
