Job Description
Duties : Power BI Development
- Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Build effective data models using DAX and Power Query
- Maintain version control and documentation of dashboards
- Maintain / Troubleshoot existing Power BI reports / dashboards and making necessary arrangements for data refresh as per required frequencies.
SQL & Data Handling
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validationPerform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrityCollaborate with IT / data engineering teams for data availability and accessStakeholder Engagement
Work with the Analytics Lead and functional SPOCs to understand reporting requirementsTranslate business needs into technical reporting solutionsEnsure timely delivery of assigned tasks within sprints or project timelinesDocumentation & Standards
Maintain documentation for all dashboards and data flowsFollow standardized reporting practices and visual design guidelinesContribute to the team’s knowledge base and reusability of templates

Technical Knowledge and Skills :
Must Have :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field2–4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI developmentStrong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)Familiarity with DAX , Power Query , and data modelling principlesStrong understanding of data visualization conceptsGood understanding of relational databases , data cleaning, and transformation techniquesStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionLanguage skills in English required.Nice to have :
Familiarity with data warehouse conceptsExposure to ERP systems like SAP , Salesforce , or other enterprise systems is preferred.Power BI certifications are a plus.Hands on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus.Additional Information
