Senior Engineer (Cloud & Data Centre)

VelivoHR is hiring Senior Engineer(Cloud &Data Center) for Mumbai location.

We are seeking an experienced Senior SysOps Engineer with a strong background in server administration and operations .

Responsibilities :

1. Manage, monitor, and maintain our production infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

2. Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and infrastructure.

3. Collaborate with the development teams in determining scale and size of infrastructure requirement for applications

4. Collaborate with the development and marketing teams to ensure seamless deployment and management of applications across multiple environments.

5. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including network, server, and application issues, and provide timely resolutions.

6. Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident response plans.

7. Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and access control.

8. Proactively identify areas for improvement, including opportunities to optimize infrastructure, reduce costs, and enhance overall system performance.

9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SysOps technologies and best practices.

10. Contribute to the overall growth and development of the SysOps team.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in system administration, operations, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a digital marketing agency or similar environment.

3. Strong expertise in Linux / Unix administration and shell scripting.

4. Proficiency in cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

5. Familiarity with CI / CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Github Action, Gitlab, or Travis CI.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to staying current with industry trends and best practices.
