Job description

The Principal Opcenter MES Platform Architect will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Siemens Opcenter MES and Opcenter Connect MOM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability Opcenter MES and Connect MOM solutions.
  • Develop and customize Opcenter and Connect MOM modules to meet business requirements.
  • Lead global deployments and automation of MES systems across multiple sites.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for MES and database issues.
  • Act as Application DBA for MSSQL, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Deeply understand MES and Connect MOM database structures to support analytics and eDHR requests.
  • Stay ahead of Opcenter MES, Connect MOM, and MSSQL advancements; lead upgrade strategies.
  • Ensure GxP compliance through rigorous documentation and validation.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical manufacturing operations.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in Siemens Opcenter MES and Connect MOM.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect in MES environments.
  • Opcenter and Connect MOM, including scripting and module customization is mandatory
