Oracle DBA Subcon

We're looking for an Oracle DBA Subcontractor with 8-10 years of total experience and 5-8 years of direct experience in Oracle DBA . The ideal candidate will be proficient in performance monitoring and tuning , database management, and ensuring the security and availability of Oracle systems. You'll also play a key role in infrastructure maintenance and collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Performance & Tuning : Conduct performance monitoring and tuning of database systems to ensure optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
• Database Management : Handle comprehensive DB management , including yearly archival processes.
• Infrastructure & Server Maintenance : Support infra maintenance and MS Servers management , including quarterly Windows server patching .
• Installation & Configuration : Perform installations and configurations of database software .
• Backup & Restoration : Manage backups and restoration of critical data to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Security Management : Implement and maintain security management of databases to protect sensitive information.
• Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to design and develop databases that align with application requirements.
• Routine Administration : Perform routine administrative tasks such as space management, database stop / start procedures, and Upgrade / Patching activities.
