Job Title : ETL Automation Tester (SDET)

Location : Pan India

Experience : 5+ Years

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL Automation Tester (SDET) with expertise in automation testing for data integration and transformation workflows.

This role blends Quality Engineering and Data Engineering, requiring strong test automation capabilities and a solid understanding of data pipelines, messaging systems, and NoSQL / search platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for ETL workflows.
Perform ETL Testing, including data validation, data quality checks, and transformation verification.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Java + Selenium.
Conduct API Testing (REST APIs) to validate backend services and integrations.
Work with messaging systems (Kafka or similar) for data streaming validation.
Validate data on NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
Perform search validation and indexing tests using OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.
Integrate automation suites into CI / CD pipelines and report results.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills :

Strong experience in ETL Testing and Test Automation.

Proficiency in Java + Selenium.

Hands-on experience in REST API Testing.

At least two of the following skill sets :

1. Kafka (or other queuing system).

2. NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.

3. OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.

Good knowledge of data validation techniques, automation frameworks, and CI / CD practices.
