Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL Automation Tester (SDET) with expertise in automation testing for data integration and transformation workflows.

This role blends Quality Engineering and Data Engineering, requiring strong test automation capabilities and a solid understanding of data pipelines, messaging systems, and NoSQL / search platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for ETL workflows.
• Perform ETL Testing, including data validation, data quality checks, and transformation verification.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Java + Selenium.
• Conduct API Testing (REST APIs) to validate backend services and integrations.
• Work with messaging systems (Kafka or similar) for data streaming validation.
• Validate data on NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
• Perform search validation and indexing tests using OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.
• Integrate automation suites into CI / CD pipelines and report results.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Required Skills :

1. Kafka (or other queuing system).

2. NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.

3. OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.
