React Native Mobile App Developer Intern

About us SwiftEx is a next-generation decentralized wallet and trading platform that combines a seamless mobile experience with blockchain technology. Our mission is to make digital asset management simple, secure, and accessible. Built primarily on React Native for mobile, with a backend powered by Node.js / NestJS, SwiftEx offers users features like asset management, cross-chain trading, and fiat on / off ramps.

Role Overview We are looking for a React Native Intern to join the SwiftEx team for 6 months. The primary focus will be on mobile app development, user experience, and performance optimization . Exposure to blockchain and crypto modules will be an added advantage . This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll gain hands-on experience with mobile-first DeFi products .

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the SwiftEx mobile app using React Native .

Build user-facing modules such as sign-up, subscriptions, market data, and portfolio dashboards.

Ensure smooth UI / UX , app responsiveness, and performance optimization .

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs (market data, authentication, notifications).

Assist in implementing wallet functionalities (send / receive, DEX trade) with guidance from blockchain engineers.

Test, debug, and optimize app performance across devices.

Stay updated on mobile app trends and emerging blockchain technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of React Native and mobile app development.

Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and state management (Redux / Context API).

Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile performance optimization.

Basic knowledge of blockchain / crypto is a plus (training will be provided if not).

Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a startup environment.

Preferred Attributes Experience with blockchain / DeFi apps (not mandatory but a strong plus).

Interest in wallets, DEX, and crypto products .

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Duration : 6 months (extension possible based on performance)
