We are looking for a highly skilled person who is excited to join a rapidly growing company and build an Accounting department from scratch. This is a high-growth leadership role with significant autonomy, ownership, and upward mobility.
You will manage full-cycle accounting for U.S. clients, oversee tax filings (including K-1s and foreign partner structures), run payroll, support entity setup (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp), and create scalable systems that will support the company’s expansion. As the business grows, you will take the lead in hiring, training, and developing a full accounting team.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of U.S. accounting and tax experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants a long-term role where they can grow into senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities
High-Growth Leadership & Team Building
Build the Accounting department from the ground up, including future hiring and trainingDevelop scalable workflows, systems, and SOPsIntroduce automation tools and process improvements to increase efficiencyProvide leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance as the team expandsPlay a key strategic role in the company’s rapid growth and operational infrastructureFull-Cycle Accounting
Oversee daily and monthly accounting operations for multiple U.S. entitiesManage general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, accruals, and reportingPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEstablish internal controls to ensure accuracy and complianceTax Preparation & Compliance
Prepare and file federal and state tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065)Prepare K-1s, including for foreign partnersHandle quarterly estimated taxes and compliance calendarsFile payroll taxes, W-2s, 941 / 940, 1099-NEC, and 1096 formsReview and respond to IRS or state notices when neededEnsure IRS and GAAP compliance in all accounting workPayroll Administration
Process payroll using systems like Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, etc.Ensure proper worker classification (W-2 vs. 1099)Manage payroll tax filings and year-end complianceEntity Setup & Advisory

Required
5+ years of U.S. accounting and tax filing experienceStrong experience with corporate and partnership returns (1120, 1120-S, 1065, K-1s)Hands-on experience preparing filings for 1099s, W-2s, payroll taxes, and foreign partner structuresProficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, and payroll platformsDemonstrated ability to create systems or processes from scratchStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesHigh sense of ownership and accountabilityPreferred
