Job Title : Business Development Head – SaaS Vertical

Location : Mumbai / Bangalore

Experience : 10–15 years

We're hiring a Business Development Head – SaaS Vertical to drive the growth of our client's SaaS business. This is a leadership role responsible for developing sales strategies, building high-value partnerships, and expanding the client base among NBFCs, Banks, and Lending Institutions.

As the Business Development Head, your responsibilities would be :

Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the SaaS vertical.

Owning P&L responsibility for the SaaS business line.

Building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing business development and sales team.

Identifying, targeting, and acquiring enterprise clients in the lending ecosystem, driving end-to-end sales cycles (lead generation to closure).

Forging partnerships with LMS providers, fintech players, and collection agencies.

Building strong C-level relationships with client organizations and ensuring adoption, value realization, and renewals.

Tracking industry trends and providing inputs for continuous innovation.

Requirements

Experience : 10–15 years total experience, with 5+ years in enterprise SaaS sales / business development.

Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of fintech, NBFC, banks, collections, or related ecosystems.

Track Record : Proven success in closing large enterprise deals and managing complex sales cycles.

Leadership : Experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.

Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Mindset : Strategic thinker with execution focus, comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

Proven success, preferably in Indian broking / startup space with lean campaigns. Strong knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging Indian platforms. Stay updated on trends, platform changes, and Indian influencer regulations. Skilled in communication, negotiation, and relationship management. Proficient in analytics for data-driven decisions. Creative with insights into Indian market trends and consumer behavior. Self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities in a startup environment.
