Job Description

We expect you to have a background as geophysicist or geologist with strong knowledge of geophysical methods. Knowledge of acquisition, processing and processing of either of the following (not necessarily all) is an advantage. For this role, we believe your starting point is :

• Multi Beam Echo Sounder (MBES)
• Side Scan Sonar (SSS)
• Magnetometer / gradiometer (MAG)
• Sub Bottom Profiler (SBP)
• Single (SBP) and or Multichannel Seismic (MCS)
• Refraction and Reflection seismic
• Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)
• Ground penetration radar (GPR)

Knowledge to some of the following software is likewise an advantage but not prerequisite for applying for the position :

You should have a creative personality. Knowledge of programming is relevant, and you should be able to see possibilities in optimizing your workflows using programming and AI.

Experience :

Possess excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
