How you will make an impact ?
The Data Governance Effectiveness Analyst (DGEA) operationalizes the data governance policies and standards.
They are responsible for validating that governance is implemented and translates into measurable impact.
They create the fact-based foundation for prioritization both within the data strategy & governance team as well as with key stakeholders.
The DGEA acts as a consultant to data quality managers to create a enterprise-wide consistent data quality Responsibilities :
- Analyze operational data (master data, conditional data, transactional data) to evaluate implementation of standards and policies
- Identify blind spots in data governance through analytics
- Provide guidance to platforms for data quality priorities
- Own meta-reporting on data :
Required key competencies and qualifications :
5+ years professional experience in data analytics or data quality managementFamiliarity with data governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, Talend, etc)Knowledge of data cataloguing toolsExperience in common analytical language (SQL, Python, etc)Strong analytical skillsDegree in data management, information governance, data science or business administrationVery good fluency in English (written and verbal)(ref : hirist.tech)
