Job Description – Automation Engineer Position : Automation Engineer Experience Required : 3 – 5 years Location : Mohali Employment Type : Full-time About the Role We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, frameworks, and CI / CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to design automation strategies that enhance efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases for automation.
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
• Ensure automation is integrated into CI / CD pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and provide quick resolutions.
• Optimize automation scripts for better performance and scalability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test processes, results, and best practices.
• Work on API, UI, and performance test automation as required. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 – 5 years of proven experience as an Automation Engineer or QA Automation Tester.
• Strong programming / scripting skills in Java / Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good to Have
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
