Job description

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer with a strong focus on front-end theming and UI implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building responsive, accessible, and high-performance Drupal-based websites and applications. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, customize, and maintain front-end themes in Drupal 8 / 9 / 10 using Twig templates, libraries, and preprocess functions.
  • Translate UI / UX wireframes and mockups into fully functional, pixel-perfect Drupal pages.
  • Build and maintain responsive and accessible front-end interfaces optimized for performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of the front-end with backend functionality.
  • Customize and extend Drupal sub-themes and base themes (e.g., Classy, Stable, Barrio).
  • Manage front-end assets including CSS / SASS, JavaScript, and libraries using Drupals asset management system.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance issues across multiple environments.
  • Stay up to date with Drupal front-end trends and contribute to improving development processes and practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 6+ years of total experience in front-end development with at least 3+ years in Drupal theming (Drupal 8 / 9 / 10).
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 / SASS, JavaScript (ES6), and jQuery.
  • Deep understanding of Drupals theme system, Twig templates, libraries, and rendering pipeline.
  • Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) and cross-browser testing.
  • Good understanding of Drupal configuration management and content architecture.
  • Familiarity with GIT or other version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with distributed teams.

    • Good to Have :

  • Exposure to Decoupled / Headless Drupal using React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
