About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with a strong background in testing complex systems across various layers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications by conducting thorough testing using tools like JMeter and New Relic.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using JMeter.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics using tools such as New Relic.
Conduct performance testing across UI, API, and database layers.
Identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with engineering teams to implement improvements.
Collaborate with global teams; flexibility to work late evenings (up to 11 : 30 PM IST) on a need basis.

Qualifications :

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.

Proficiency in JMeter for load and performance testing.

Strong knowledge of performance monitoring tools like New Relic.

Demonstrated experience in testing across UI, API, and database components.

Proven ability to test and optimize complex technology stacks.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in end-to-end performance testing in distributed or cloud-based environments.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into them.

Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
