We are hiring "Structural CAD Engineer" for Infrastructure Projects

Location : Thane, Maharashtra
Experience : 8–15 years
Education : Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural CAD Draftsman to join our design team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting for infrastructure projects such as bridges, elevated and underground metro systems, and stations. The role demands precision, ownership, and the ability to deliver high-quality drawings under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and develop conceptual drawings, general arrangement drawings (GAD), detailed drawings, and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings for : Bridges, Elevated and underground metro systems, Metro stations

Execute RCC detailing for : Piles and foundations, Bridge girders (including I-girders and box girders), Abutments, Piers, Pier heads, Retaining walls, Pre-tensioning and post-tensioning layouts

Understand and interpret structural design concepts and translate them into accurate CAD drawings

Extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings

Ensure error-free drafting with excellent quality and adherence to project standards

Collaborate effectively with design engineers and project teams

Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery

Required Skills & Experience :

8–15 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably with long tenures at reputed design consultants

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory

Working knowledge of Revit and Tekla Structures is an added advantage

Experience in steel detailing is desirable

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong understanding of various structural systems and construction methodologies

Excellent team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to quality
