Job Overview :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring Boot, MySQL, and Restful API development. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, scalable Java applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality and ensure seamless communication between systems.
Optimize and refactor code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to the improvement of development best practices and processes.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Java ecosystem and continuously improve your technical skills.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and bugs to maintain application reliability.
Ensure that all software development follows industry standards and organizational policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with hands-on expertise in Spring

Boot and MySQL.

Strong knowledge of Java SE and Java EE concepts, including multi-threading, design patterns, and JVM internals.

Solid experience in RESTful API design and implementation.

Proficient in working with MySQL (or other relational databases) and writing efficient SQL queries.

Knowledge of modern version control tools, particularly Git.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience in working within an Agile development environment.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Ability to mentor junior developers and provide leadership within the development team.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with microservices architecture and Docker containerization.

Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.

Experience in building scalable, high-performance applications in production environments.
